Why do I only see the architect's first name?

Updated on 31 août 2026 · 1 min read

In the directory and on public pages, an architect is presented by their first name, their city, their projects and their reviews — never by their surname, and never with a way to contact them.

This is not a privacy measure

Hello Archi is not a contact directory: it is an intermediary. We study your project, then entrust it to professionals we select and invite. Our work starts well before you meet anyone.

Publishing a professional's contact details would remove that step. You would end up approaching them yourself, without the scoping work that makes the service worth using.

What you can see

  • the professional's first name and the area they cover;
  • their projects, with photographs and descriptions;
  • their specialities, skills and years of experience;
  • their rating and the reviews left by their clients.

That is deliberately everything you need to picture the result, and nothing you need to bypass the platform.

Public directory: an architect shown by first name only
① first name, rating, projects and city — and no way to make contact.

When the full identity appears

Your professional's full name is revealed to you once the quote is signed, when they are formally assigned to your project. From then on you work with them directly and you have all their details.

For a company, the registered business name stays public — that is a legal requirement. Its contact details, however, follow exactly the same rule as an architect's.
